How much room do I need?
Depending on the unit you rent, it can range anywhere from as little as approximately 16' by 16' to 40' by 40'. The area should be level, free of rocks, dirt, sand, sticks etc. and any in ground sprinkler systems should be shut off and not protruding. The unit must be within 50 feet of an outlet. Please clean up the area in which the Moonwalk or slide is to be placed. Still not sure - please call us and we will be happy to stop by and evaluate your area.

What if I want the Moonwalk setup where there is no electrical outlet, or at least no outlet within 50 feet?

We can setup your Moonwalk virtually anywhere! We may need to bring a generator in order to power the blower. Keep in mind that there is a $75 additional charge for generator use. Comes with a tank of gas. Any additional gasoline will be customers responsibility.

Who sets up the Moonwalk?
We set up the Moonwalk or slide and take it down when we come to pick it up. Set up time is approximately 15-20 minutes. We ask that if you are done with the Moonwalk or slide please do not shut down the blower. The Moonwalk or slide unit must be inflated before it is taken down so that we can inspect and possibly do a preliminary cleaning of the unit. Pick up time is usually 20-30 minutes.

Can I cancel my Moonwalk Reservation?
Yes, you can cancel your rental. However, we would appreciate as much notice as possible. Often times, we have a customer waiting list for a specific unit.

What is the policy in case of rain or high wind?


Wind - If the local weather is calling for rain or winds of 15-20 mph or more on your reserved day and both you and BounceOnAir agree before delivery that it may be unsafe to use then we will cancel the rental.
Rain - If the inside of the bouncer unit gets wet everyone should exit the bouncer. It is not necessary to unplug the bouncer when raining. However, the bouncer unit becomes very slippery and dangerous. Once the rain stops, you may dry off the unit with towels on the inside and resume playtime. Once dry, the bounce should be once again safe to use.

Can a Moonwalk be set up indoors?
Yes, our units can be set up inside or outside. You will need to have enough ceiling height (18’) to accommodate the unit. The units must not be too near any hot lights, a/c vents or any fire hazard. Many commercial halls, malls, etc. will do just fine.

Can a Moonwalk be set up on pavement?
Yes, as long as the area is level and free of obstructions. *Please let us know ahead so that we can bring along our anchoring system. We will not set up on dirt, sand, gravel, or rocks.

Can I set up the Moonwalk near my pool/ body of water?
No. The bouncer unit must be set up a safe distance away from a pool or water front; at least 25 feet.

Why can't I pick up the Moonwalk and set it up myself to cut costs?
Safety is our number one concern. Some companies will allow the homeowner to pick up & set up the units, we do not feel that it is a good idea. Our set up personnel will evaluate the set up area, use the correct size & type of power cords and makes the all-important connections between the blower & Moonwalk. We will use the proper straps and spikes/anchors to secure the Moonwalk to the ground Also, each unit weighs approximately 260+ pounds, so injury to you is also our concern.

How safe are your Moonwalks?
Our Moonwalks are constructed with quality and safety in mind. All of our units have the “child safety ramp/step” or double entry flap for safe and easy entry/exit and are constructed from very durable vinyl and mesh netting, which allows for easy viewing and minimizes the chances of getting entangled. Each of our units are equipped with a non-removable list of rules. We can also supply recommended guidelines for safe use and recommended number of children that should be allowed to use the unit at one time.

How does the Moonwalk unit stay inflated?
We setup the unit and inflate the Moonwalk with a fully enclosed blower motor unit that must stay on the entire time the bounce unit is being used (unless winds exceed 20mph). The design of the blower is such that no moving parts are exposed. This is a very important safety feature that you should take into account. The blower unit must be located within 50 feet of an electrical outlet. We can use our generator to power the blower, however, there is an additional charge.

Can we rent a moonwalk if we plan on having a party in a park?

Yes, however you must make sure that the park is notified of the moonwalk rental. Please check with us regarding other details. We would need about 1 weeks advanced notice if proof of insurance is required. You will need to make sure that power is available for use, otherwise we may have to bring in our generator to power the blower, there will be an additional charge for the generator.

Can evening rentals be scheduled?...

Yes, the equipment must be picked up no later than 9:00 pm. (unless other arrangements have been made).

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes we accept credit card payments. Currently we accept Credit Cards, Cash, Checks, Money Orders.

How long is the rental period

The rental period is typically 8 hours, however we are pretty flexible and will work with and around your needs.

What are your business hours?

Our business hours to call are 7 days a week, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. 24 hours on line.

Are You Insured?

Yes, we are fully insured. However, BounceOnAir will not be responsible for any acts of negligence on the part of the customer, their representatives or guests. Proof of insurance can be provided at no additional cost. We also offer an opportunity for you to be added to our policy as an additional insured for an additional $35.00. We do require lead time of 2- 3 business days to obtain the certificate.

Do I need to sign Waiver of Liability?

Yes, We do require you sign a Waiver of Liability. Lessor is NOT responsible for injuries occurring to lessee or to any persons using the leased property. The lessee further agrees to hold BounceOnAir and its representatives harmless against any injury and claims to property damage. By accepting these terms you indicate agreement with all the provisions in this lease and acknowledge that you will read, review and follow the general rules posted on the rented equipment and documents provided to you at the time of setup which pertain to safe operation.
