1) How big are the moonbounces?

The moonbounce units are 15'x15'. The heights vary- see the detail pages of the equipment you are interested in for height.

2) How many children can fit in a moonbounce?

Generally speaking, between 6 and 10 kids at one time. This really depends on the size of the children and the size of the moonbounce.

3) How much does it cost?

4) Are the bouncers clean?

Yes. All Kids Jump units are thoroughly cleaned between each use. We are committed to making sure that your children have a clean, healthy, and safe environment in which to play. In addition to cleaning, we also safety check and troubleshoot all equipment before it goes out to another client. This way, you are always guaranteed a unit that is safe, clean and in good working order.
You will be asked to sign an inspection report after the installer has set up your unit and walked you around it to verify that the equipment is in good condition.

5) It's pretty hot outside. Does it get hot inside the inflatables?

Actually, it stays very comfortable inside the equipment. The moonwalks lose air with every bounce (that is what makes them bouncy- the loss and refilling of air!) so it is usually breezy and cool inside. Plus, each moonwalk has a roof that shades the bounce area.

6) What if it rains?

We do not operate our moonwalks in high winds or rain. If recent weather has caused the bounce area to become muddy, you will need to locate an alternate location. We strongly urge renters to reserve an alternate indoor location (such as a park or school gymnasium) in case of inclement weather. We cannot set up in rain or high winds. Safety is our first concern.
If your event may be cancelled due to weather, you will be called 2 hours in advance. You may cancel at this time and receive a refund of your deposit.

7) Can you set up indoors?

Yes. We can set up the moonbounces in gymnasiums or any other area that can accommodate the height (avg. 16 feet) of the bounces.

9) What are the appropriate ages for bouncing?

Ages 2-12 years. Some older teenager parties are permissible; call or e-mail for details if you're not sure.

10) Do you deliver to my area?

We deliver in Louisville, KY and surrounding areas. We now service Shelbyville, Frankfort, Lawrenceburg, Shepherdsville, Mt. Washington, Bardstown, Elizabethtown, Radcliff, and Lexington as well. Call us to find out if we can deliver to your area!

11) How much room do I need?

Since the units vary in size, please check the detail page for the size of your unit and add at least 1 foot around the perimeter. Also, if you're not sure what size your yard is, you can measure it or "walk it off" heel to toe in a man's shoe (it'll be about 1 foot per step) to approximate. If you can imagine two parked cars side by side in your set up area, most likely we can fit the unit of your choice in that area. Also, most 2 car driveways can accommodate most units. Don't forget your vertical clearance! You'll need an area free of low wires and branches, about 16-17 feet high.

12) How much room do you need to bring the bouncer in?

A standard walk through gate is fine. We bring the unit rolled up and wheel it in on a standard hand truck (dolly). If a person can comfortably walk through, we can fit the bouncer through too!

13) Can you set up on my driveway?

Yes. We prefer to set up in a lawn or grassy area if possible because it is easier to secure the unit but we can set up in a parking lot, driveway, or other hard surface. We will not set up on a gravel driveway.
If you have a 2 car width driveway, most likely our bouncer will fit. A slight slope is not a problem. Typically, we will place the entrance of the unit at the top of any slope.

14) My yard slopes a bit- will that be OK?

Yes. A slight slope is not a problem. Typically, we will place the entrance of the unit at the top of any slope. If the slope is more than a little, we may not be able to set up in that location. Your installer may request an alternate location so please have one in mind. The safety of the children is the most important consideration when selecting a setup area.

15) Does it need electricity? How much does it use?

Yes. Your electrical outlet needs to be within 75' of the inflatable. If you do not have power close by, consider renting a generator from a local rental store. We do not provice generators at this time.
NOTE: All blowers and wiring are safety checked before delivery.

16) What time do you deliver and pickup the bouncer?

Rental periods vary. The typical range of rental time is 4 hours to all day (7 or 8 hours). You decide on the specific time you want the bouncer set up by and we'll have the equipment set up between 30 minutes and 2 hours before that start time. Also, you do not pay for our set up time, all rental periods are jumping time only! Pick up is based on the number of hours you rent for. If you have special requirements for an exact setup or pick up time, (for example, your event is in a location that you have rented for a specific amount of time) let us know.

17) What are your hours of operation?

Our office is open from 9am to 6pm weekdays. Our customer support lines are open continually on the weekends. If you happen to get voicemail at any time, please leave your name and number and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Our curfews for picking up are generally 9 PM during daylight savings and 8 PM otherwise.

18) How far in advance do I need to order?

We suggest 3-5 weeks before your scheduled party date. However, we generally have inventory available for last minute bookings, if you are not too picky about style preference. All units are booked on a first come first served basis.

19) My party is tomorrow. Can I still get a rental?

Maybe! Give us a call and we will try to work it in. Anytime there is a short window of time between the booking and the event where you will not be able to mail a deposit, we will require a credit card to hold your reservation or you may bring a check by our office.

20) Can I keep the bouncer over night?

Yes. The bouncer must be set up in a backyard or area that is fenced and locked up. The fence must be at least 4 feet tall. There is an additional charge for this service. All Kids Jump reserves the right to deny any event of this service. All Kids Jump also reserves the right to cancel the over night portion of any event at any time if we have reason to believe that our property is at risk of injury or theft.

21) Is it cheaper if we pickup the bouncer ourselves?

No. In fact, All Kids Jump does not allow for this. All of our drivers are trained as professional installers and are certified by All Kids Jump to be a certified installer of our equipment. Our insurance requires that our installers do an onsite inspection as well. Where the safety of your children is concerned, we do not take any chances.
